1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I
The first of the Silver Clouds — one of the last six-cylinder Rolls-Royces, with just 28,382 miles from new.

The story
The Silver Cloud I is the car that defined 1950s motoring elegance. Launched in 1955 as the first of the Silver Cloud line, it was among the very last Rolls-Royces powered by the silky 4.9-litre straight-six before the marque moved to V8 power in 1959.
This 1957 example — chassis SFE93, registration EJC 466 — shows a mere 28,382 miles and presents beautifully, with Connolly hide, hand-polished walnut and the unmistakable presence that made the Silver Cloud the choice of celebrities and dignitaries of its era. Built on a traditional separate chassis, it remains extraordinarily quiet and comfortable, and is perfectly suited to concours events, historic rallies and grand occasions.
