The story

Penned by William Towns, the DBS blended British elegance with genuine muscle, and earned cinematic immortality in the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It was the final flowering of Aston Martin's straight-six era before the V8 took over.

This 1971 right-hand-drive example is a handsome 2+2 grand tourer with the triple-SU-carburettor 4.0-litre six, Connolly leather and real walnut throughout — a rare and increasingly sought-after piece of Aston Martin history, especially desirable in manual form.
