1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Tourer by Hooper
A 7.7-litre pre-war Phantom in open Hooper coachwork — aristocratic grand touring at its most majestic.

The story
The Phantom I was the 'New Phantom' that succeeded the immortal Silver Ghost, powered by a colossal 7.7-litre overhead-valve straight-six designed above all for imperious smoothness. Coachwork on this example is by Hooper & Co. — coachbuilder to royalty and one of the most revered names of the coachbuilt era.
As an open Tourer it is the most romantic Phantom configuration of all: built for ceremonial occasions, aristocratic voyages and open-air elegance. Complete with leather luggage trunk, polished aluminium running boards and Rolls-Royce picnic accessories, it is an exceptionally rare motor car of museum quality.
